More than 450 parts on this page fit the Fendt Xylon 522. Lighting, trailer couplings and electrics are grouped so you find the right item quickly.
Keeping a Xylon 522 working comes down largely to three areas: the cab, the lighting and the hydraulics. More than 450 parts on this page fit this tractor, from GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, GRAMMER and Walterscheid.
A comfortable seat matters on long days, and there are air suspended tractor seats here, including seats from GRAMMER. Before choosing one, check the seat width and whether the compressor needs a twelve volt connection in the cab. An air seat that slowly sinks often has a leaking line or a tired compressor, so check those before replacing the whole seat.
For night work there are work lamps, LED floodlights among them, plus holders and brackets to mount them firmly. A rotating beacon is needed as soon as you take wide or slow equipment onto the road. On the dashboard you can replace a worn rocker switch or push button, and individual symbol inserts such as the indicator warning light are available too.
A tip for LED work lamps: run the earth straight to the chassis and use a holder that absorbs vibration. A poor earth causes flickering that is easily mistaken for a failed lamp.
There is a repair kit for the foot brake and a seal kit for the external lift cylinder. You will also find pins, compression springs, seals for parts such as the fuel sensors and a gasket for the water channel. If you pull trailers with air brakes, connector heads and covers for the coupling heads are here as well.
Before resealing a lift cylinder, inspect the piston rod carefully. A new seal running on a rod with rust pits or scoring will soon leak again. On the air brake connector heads, red is the supply line, so keep the colours right and the hoses cannot be swapped by mistake. When fitting the foot brake repair kit, do both sides in one session so the tractor does not pull to one side under braking.
The type plate tells you which model you have. If it reads Xylon 522, you are in the right place. For seals and gaskets, compare the number on the old part with the reference number shown with the product. Some parts, such as a pin listed for Farmer, Favorit and Xylon tractors, appear for several Fendt types.
Within the Xylon family the Fendt Xylon 520 and the Fendt Xylon 524 each have their own page, which helps if a sister tractor shares the yard with your 522. For everything else from Fendt, from Farmer to Favorit tractors, head to Fendt parts.
