A work lamp that has packed up, a switch that sticks, a top link weeping oil. For a Fendt 209 Vario with Typ 332 on its type plate, the replacements are on this page: more than 250 parts selected for this version only. Running a different version? Head to the Fendt 209 Vario Typ 302 page or the overview for the Fendt 209 Vario.
The brands behind these parts are GRANIT, HELLA, Wabco, Scharmüller and Walterscheid.
Typ 332 is your starting point, but with electrical parts it pays to look at the connector and housing of the old part as well. Take a switch or pressure switch out before ordering and look for a reference number to compare with the details on the product. For a top link, do not go by eye. Compare the category of the ball ends with what the tractor and the implement use.
With halogen work lamps the old rule still stands: never touch the bulb glass with bare fingers. Skin oil creates a hot spot on the glass and shortens the bulb's life considerably. Use a cloth or gloves, and while you are at it check that the plug is dry and shows no green corrosion. A flickering lamp is often a connection problem rather than a lamp problem.
A hydraulic top link with a check valve holds its length as long as the valve is closed. If an implement slowly drops, look for leaks at the hose fittings first. Grease the ball ends regularly and route the hoses so they never pull tight when the linkage lifts.
Other members of the Fendt 200 series with their own page are the Fendt 207 Vario, Fendt 208 Vario, Fendt 210 Vario and Fendt 211 Vario, useful when more than one Fendt works on the farm. The rest of the brand is on the Fendt parts page.
