Play in the linkage or at a hydraulic cylinder nearly always comes down to a worn bush or pin. You will find bushes, for example for a double acting cylinder, and separate pins. Replace both together, because a new pin in an oval bush soon develops the same slack. Grease the fitting after assembly until fresh grease appears. Alongside these there are potentiometers for the hitch linkage and pressure switches, such as the one on the fuel filter head.
For lighting there are work lamps, headlights and rotating beacons. On the dashboard you can replace rocker switches for the work lights, push button switches for the hazard lights and individual switch symbols. The cab itself is covered by gas struts for the door or bonnet, discs for the rear screen hinge, holders and covers.
When a work lamp stops working, suspect the rocker switch first. After years of use the contacts burn and the switch only conducts when pressed halfway. Replacing it is quick: release the panel, move the plug across, done. A fresh symbol makes it clear which switch does what, which helps when someone else drives the tractor. When connecting a new lamp, protect the plug with a little contact grease. Moisture in a connector is a common cause of lights that only work some of the time.
