Looking for parts for your Fendt Favorit 600 (Typ 280) tractor? In this category, you'll find everything you need for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle.
The Fendt Favorit 600 LS carries the internal type designation T 280 and was built from 1978 to 1981. A total of 1,631 units were produced, of which 386 had rear-wheel drive (chassis number T 280.010) and 1,245 had four-wheel drive (chassis number T 280.210). Production was discontinued after just three years due to insufficient commercial success. The intention was to extend the power range of the Favorit 600 series downwards, but the market did not respond as expected. The 600 LS is therefore the only model in the LS line of the 600 series that did not receive a successor in the LSA range.
The four-wheel drive version was also informally referred to as the 600 LSA, although this was not an official model designation. The difference from the 610 LS is that the 600 LS produces 10 hp less and has a slightly lower maximum torque figure, while both use the same MWM D 227 engine.
The Favorit 600 LS is fitted with an MWM D 227.6.2, a water-cooled six-cylinder four-stroke inline diesel engine without turbocharger and with direct injection. The engine features overhead valves, an inline injection pump with governor, a multi-hole injector, a seven-bearing crankshaft, a gear-driven camshaft, pressure circulation lubrication, a dry air filter and thermostatically controlled dual-circuit cooling with a flat-fin radiator. The governed speed range runs from 650 to 2,450 rpm and minimum oil pressure at rated speed is 2.0 bar.
Power output is 85 hp. Maximum torque is 324 Nm at 1,450 rpm.
Top speed is 30 km/h. In the slow range, the six gears run from 2.47 to 23.36 km/h, in the fast range from 3.09 to 29.18 km/h. A third range is also available with gears running from 3.42 to 19.91 km/h.
The PTO is switchable between 540 and 1,000 rpm. An optional front PTO is available.
The hydraulic pump delivers 40 litres per minute. The rear three-point hitch features draft, position and mixed control. An optional front linkage is available.
The brakes are hydraulically operated. Steering is hydrostatically assisted. An optional single or dual-circuit compressed air braking system was available.
Standard tyre sizes are 16.9R38 at the rear and 12.4R28 at the front. The cab is a rubber-mounted, vibration and sound-insulated safety cab with a noise level of 81 dB, fold-open front and rear windows, three-stage ventilation system, two-stage heating and radio preparation.
The 600 LS is the smallest and least powerful model in the LS line of the Favorit 600 series. Compared to the 610 LS (Typ 281), the 600 LS produces 10 hp less at a lower maximum torque, but technically the two models are closely related. Both use the MWM D 227 engine, the same cab and the same basic construction. Due to the short production period of only three years, examples of the 600 LS are rarer than the other models in the series, which also affects the availability of spare parts.
