With more than 550 parts, the Fendt Favorit 822 from the Favorit 800 series is well covered here. Lighting, electrics and trailer couplings are among them.
Plenty of Favorit 822 tractors have put in a long working life, and at that age it is the many small parts that keep the machine comfortable and usable. This page lists more than 550 parts that fit the Fendt Favorit 822, with GRANIT next to HELLA, Wabco, GRAMMER and ROCKINGER.
At this age it is rarely the big assemblies that cause grief, but the many small things together: a loose grab handle, a switch that no longer springs back, a hose that sweats. Replacing those in time keeps the Favorit 822 pleasant and safe to work with, especially for anyone who spends long days in the cab.
Radiator hoses, including a lower rubber elbow, gaskets for the water channel and seals for the tank sensor keep the engine and cooling circuit tight. For keeping the battery topped up, a choice of alternators is available too. After replacing a coolant hose, top up with the correct type of coolant and let the engine warm up with the cap off until no more bubbles rise. Trapped air is a common reason for an engine that runs hot right after a hose change.
Getting in and out every day wears down a lot of cab parts. There are air suspended tractor seats such as the Maximo Professional, handles, push buttons, rocker switches and indicator symbols for the switch panel. Gas struts hold the windscreen frame and the doors open, and a separate disc is available for the rear screen hinge. Rubber discs and pins round things off. Replace the windscreen frame struts as a pair so the frame is not pulled out of line.
Work lamps come in many versions, for example an angular spotlight for flush mounting, along with holders and brackets to fit them. When you change a lamp, clean the plug and the earth connection too. Weak or flickering light is very often caused by a corroded contact rather than by the lamp itself.
Look at the type plate to confirm you have a Favorit 822. After that, a reference number on the old part is the surest guide. The tractor belongs to the Fendt Favorit 800 series, and the related types from that series have their own pages: Fendt Favorit 816 and Fendt Favorit 818. For every other tractor of the make, head to Fendt parts.
