Electric Jungheinrich EFG 316 in need of a part? More than 30 items that fit are gathered here, from seats and accessories to lighting and electrics.
Spend a full shift on a Jungheinrich EFG 316 and you notice straight away when the belt drags or the armrest wobbles. The more than 30 parts on this page lean heavily towards the operator position of this electric forklift. Brands on the page include GRAMMER, FRÖTEK, HELLA, GRANIT and Philips.
Four lap belts are listed for the EFG 316, one of them a Duo-Sensitiv belt that Jungheinrich also fits to CD, CL and DFG trucks. A Duo-Sensitiv retractor locks in two situations: when the webbing is pulled out sharply and when the truck tilts heavily. After unbuckling, let the belt run back slowly rather than letting go, and make sure the webbing does not disappear into the retractor twisted. Dirt and a twisted strap are common reasons why a belt stops rolling up smoothly.
The traction battery can be topped up with an Aquamatik system, and for that there is a grey coupling and a matching valved plug. While topping up, check the small hoses running between the cells as well. A kinked or loose hose leaves some cells dry while the others get their water.
For lighting there are halogen bulbs, including a Philips MasterDuty, plus a work lamp and a warning bulb. A wiper blade completes the list.
Check the data plate to confirm the truck is an EFG 316. For seat parts, read the MSG model and upper part off the seat label. For belts, note the width of the tongue and which side the retractor sits on. The hose connection on your battery decides which Aquamatik parts you need. When in doubt, compare the number on the old part with the reference number given for the product.
When fitting a halogen bulb, keep your fingers off the glass. Skin oil burns onto it as soon as it warms up and noticeably shortens its life, so handle it by the base or with a clean cloth.
Other trucks from the maker, LPG or diesel, are on the Jungheinrich parts page.
