What fits a Jungheinrich TFG 435? This page answers with more than 30 items for this LPG forklift, spread across seats, lighting and electrics.
On an LPG forklift that runs shift after shift, the seat does more work than almost anything else on the truck. The Jungheinrich TFG 435 uses a GRAMMER seat from the MSG range, and a good share of this page centres on it. In total there are more than 30 replacement parts for the TFG 435 on this page, from GRAMMER, HELLA and GRANIT.
The armrest and back extension suit GRAMMER seats from MSG 65 to MSG 97. A worn cushion is more than a comfort issue, since an operator who slides around under braking is less in control and tires sooner.
Three lap belts are listed for this truck, among them a Duo-Sensitiv belt that Jungheinrich also uses on CD, CL and DFG models. Test the belt every so often with a sharp pull. The retractor should lock at once. If it locks slowly, or the webbing is frayed or faded, fit a new belt. Any belt that has taken the load of a collision should be replaced even if it looks fine.
For lighting there is a halogen bulb used in head, fog and work lights, a work lamp, a warning bulb and a round reflector. On the electrical side you will find a changeover relay, the red hazard light symbol and a mounting strip. The engine is covered by an outer air filter. Resist knocking it out on the floor to stretch its life, because the paper tears easily and the dust ends up in the engine anyway.
The data plate on the truck confirms it is a TFG 435. For seat parts, also look for the label on the seat itself, which gives the MSG model and the upper part. For belts and filters, take the number from the old part and compare it with the reference number for the product, so the buckle or filter length is not a surprise when it arrives.
Seat parts are worth renewing in one go. Doing cushions and back extension together means the seat comes apart once instead of twice.
Other trucks from the same maker, electric or diesel, can be found through the Jungheinrich parts page.
