Once the old part is off the tractor, look for a reference number stamped into it or printed on a label. With seals and O-rings, which tend to look alike, that number is far more reliable than comparing shapes on the workbench.
Connector heads get coupled and uncoupled every time you change implements, and they pick up dust and grit along the way. A little dirt on the rubber seal is enough to cause a leak that you only notice when the compressor keeps running. Keep the red supply head and the yellow brake head clean and close the dust covers whenever nothing is hooked up. If a head still hisses with a clean seal, replace the whole head rather than just the rubber ring. And if the alternator seems to be undercharging, check the belt and the earth cable before you condemn it.
