The Fendt GT 231 was produced from 1972 to 1980 and is equipped with a 3-cylinder air-cooled MWM AKD 311 Z diesel engine with 1.8 liters displacement. It delivers around 28 hp. The original color is Fendt green with red rims. Commonly used paint is RAL 6010, available from suppliers such as GRANIT or KRAMP.

Fendt is a German manufacturer of agricultural machinery, founded in Marktoberdorf by the Fendt brothers. In 1930, the first Fendt tractor was built – the Fendt Dieselross. This machine had 6 hp and remained in production in various versions until 1960.
