Lighting, electrics and brake and transmission parts for the Fiat 65-66 are on this page. In total there are more than 200 parts that belong to the 66 series.
Plenty of Fiat 65-66 tractors are still doing daily work, and keeping one going comes down to sound maintenance. This page offers more than 200 replacement parts for the 65-66, from a lamp glass to a full clutch kit.
Swapping an old starter for a gear reduction starter often makes the engine turn over noticeably faster. Check the battery leads and the earth strap to the block while you are at it. On an older tractor these are often corroded, and then even a new starter struggles.
For the clutch there are double clutch pressure plates, clutch kits and thrust bearings, partly from LUK and Eaton. Once a new double clutch is in, the release fingers and the pedal play need setting again. If the fingers are not all at the same height, the PTO will not disengage cleanly and the implement keeps turning when you think it has stopped.
The page also covers lift shaft seals, brake cylinder O-rings, ball joints for the steering, lamp glasses and push button switches, with Cobo and MAHLE supplying some of them alongside GRANIT. When the lift shaft leaks, replace both seals together and clean the running surface on the shaft well before fitting.
When fitting a new alternator on a tractor of this age, look at the belt and pulley as well. A worn pulley will chew through a new V-belt in no time. Check the thermostat housing for scale and corrosion and always renew the O-ring. A rusted exhaust tube is often heard before it is seen, and the new one should go on with new clamps.
Do not overlook the tank cap. A blocked vent creates a vacuum in the tank and starves the engine during long work, while a leaking cap lets in water and dirt that end up in the fuel filter.
On a tractor of this age the identification plate may be hard to read. The serial number is usually still stamped into the block or frame. For clutch parts, the number on the old part gives extra certainty, since the splines have to match exactly.
