Running a Fiat 80-90? You will find more than 300 parts that fit here, including electrics, lighting and trailer couplings, neatly sorted by product group.
Plenty of Fiat 80-90 tractors are still doing a full day's work, and much of their upkeep can be handled in a farm workshop. This page carries more than 300 parts for the Fiat 80-90, from GRANIT, Cobo, LUK, MAHLE and HELLA.
The 80-90 uses a double clutch. For it there are double clutch pressure plates, thrust bearings and complete clutch kits, including LUK. If the tractor is split anyway, replacing pressure plate, disc and thrust bearing together saves doing the job twice. A gear reduction starter and alternators cover the starting and charging side.
Push button switches for the dash, lamp glasses and a drawbar round off the list.
Wander in the steering on an older 80-90 often comes from worn ball joints. When fitting a new one, the taper and the arm it goes into must be clean and dry. Never grease the taper, because the nut will not pull it tight and the joint will spin. Use a new self-locking nut or split pin and check the toe-in afterwards. A torn dust boot on the old joint is usually what let the dirt in that wore it out.
On a tractor of this age the rating plate may be weathered or painted over. The reference number cast or stamped into the old part is then the best guide. Lay a gasket or seal next to the one you removed and compare the shape and holes before fitting.
If the engine turns slowly or the starter only clicks, test the battery, the earth strap and the starter terminals before buying anything. A gear reduction starter spins the engine over briskly on less current, which suits the older wiring on a tractor like this.
The 90 series includes more tractors than the 80-90, and each has its own parts page: Fiat 55-90, Fiat 60-90, Fiat 65-90, Fiat 90-90, Fiat 100-90 and Fiat 110-90. Order for each tractor from the page for that type. Other Fiat models are under Fiat parts.
