If there is a Fiat 90-90 in your yard, this is your overview: more than 200 parts for the 90 series, including lighting, electrics and trailer couplings.
Most Fiat 90-90 tractors have a lot of hours behind them, and it shows in seals, bearings and bushes. More than 200 replacement parts fit this model, from GRANIT and from makers such as Cobo, Walterscheid, Bosch/Rexroth and FLEETGUARD.
If the linkage slowly drops with an implement on, the leak is often in the lift cylinder. There are seals for the outer lift cylinder and piston sealing rings, along with bushes for the lift arm shaft and lift rods. For oil pressure there is a single hydraulic pump from Bosch/Rexroth. Before fitting new seals, inspect the cylinder bore for scoring. A groove in the bore will chew through fresh seals in no time and the job will have been wasted.
For cooling there is a thermostat with its O-ring, plus gaskets for the water pump and the rear engine cover. A FLEETGUARD air filter with a separate inner element keeps the intake clean. The driving clutch can take a new thrust bearing, the steering new ball joints, and the brakes new brake cylinder O-rings. Lamp glasses, holders, yokes and rocker switches complete the list.
A quick note on the inner air filter: replace it rather than blowing it out. It is the last line of defence for the engine if the outer element is ever damaged.
A thrust bearing that sings or rattles as soon as you press the clutch pedal needs replacing. The tractor has to be split to reach it, so inspect the clutch plate and pressure plate on the same job. Reset the pedal play after fitting. With too little play the bearing turns all the time and the new one will soon be worn out too.
On an older tractor the type plate can be weathered, so clean it carefully to confirm you have a 90-90. For seals, bushes and bearings, measure the old part and compare the bore, outside size and width with the product details. Filters usually have a clearly printed reference number on the housing.
The 90 series came in several sizes, and each one has a page here with the parts that fit it:
