An electric forklift like the Linde E20 does without fuel filters and oil changes, yet plenty still wears out. The seat takes a beating every shift, mirrors catch the racking, wipers clear dust and condensation and gas struts keep covers where they belong. You can replace the whole seat or only the part that has given up. There are black PVC seat cushions and back cushions, and complete forklift seats such as the air suspended Primo L in fabric. When the foam has flattened but the suspension still works properly, a new cushion is usually enough to make the seat comfortable again, and it costs far less effort to fit.
Black mirrors, metal bracket wiper blades, halogen bulbs and flood beam work lamps cover the visibility side. Add to that an indicator and position light with a separate lens, a horn, switch symbols such as the red hazard light symbol, shock absorbers, a cutting ring for a pipe fitting and ventilation filters.
The gas struts deserve their own mention, including one made specifically for Linde. A strut that has lost pressure lets a cover drop or no longer holds it open. Where two struts work as a pair, change both, or the new one ends up carrying the full load and wears out early. Fit a strut with the piston rod pointing down where possible so the seal inside stays lubricated, and never drill into or burn an old one, because it still holds pressurised gas.
Start with the type plate, which confirms the E20 and carries the serial number of your truck. Then look at the old part. Gas struts and filters usually have a number printed on them, and for cushions the upper part of the seat they sit on gives a useful clue. Compare that reference number with the details shown with the product before you order, and you avoid sending a part back.
