More than 40 parts on this page fit the Claas Arion 420, including trailer couplings and three-point linkage parts, so you quickly see what suits your Arion.
A Claas Arion 420 often swaps between a bale trailer, a tipper and a forage wagon in the same week, and each one wants a different coupling at the back. That is why the more than 40 replacement parts for the Arion 420 on this page are largely about the rear hitch. They come from Scharmüller, Walterscheid, ROCKINGER, FEBI and GRANIT.
Beyond the hitch there are hydraulic lifting struts for the linkage, aircon compressors and FEBI engine oil filters for routine servicing.
A ball hitch is meant to run greased. Grease the ball and the socket regularly, and always after pressure washing the tractor. A dry ball wears out of round quickly and starts to knock when pulling away or braking. The ball insert can be replaced on its own, so the frame stays in place. At oil change time, wipe a little clean oil on the seal of the new filter and tighten it by hand only.
The hydraulic lifting struts on the 420 work under high pressure and take heavy loads every time the linkage rises and falls. If oil appears at the seal, or an implement slowly sinks with the engine off, replace the strut before it gives way completely. Never work under an implement held only by the linkage. After fitting a new aircon compressor, have the system evacuated and recharged by a qualified workshop, and renew the receiver drier at the same time.
The type plate gives the model and serial number of your tractor. For hitch parts you also need to know the system and rail width already fitted, which you can read from the existing frame or from the plate on the old part. Filters and lifting struts usually carry a reference number to compare with the product details.
If you also run a different Arion, it has its own page of parts that fit: Claas Arion 430, Claas Arion 530, Claas Arion 610, Claas Arion 620, Claas Arion 630 and Claas Arion 640. All Claas tractors are listed under Claas parts.
