Start with the identification plate for the type. For hitch parts, two measurements on your own tractor matter just as much: the rail width of the drawbar frame and the diameter of the pin. Measure both before choosing. For the aircon compressor and oil filter, the reference number on the old part is the surest way to find the matching item on this page.
A hitch consists of several layers. The drawbar frame is fixed to the tractor, and a drawbar, top drawbar, Piton Fix or ball hitch slides into its rail. An adapter plate or flange hitch lets a coupling bolt onto the right hole pattern. For the Arion 430 there are:
A failed aircon compressor often leaves debris in the system. When fitting a new one, replace the receiver drier as well and have the system flushed, otherwise the new compressor can fail early. Check the oil quantity in the new compressor against the system requirement, and let a workshop with the right equipment evacuate and recharge the refrigerant. Before refitting the belt, turn the compressor clutch by hand a few times to spread the oil. Run the air conditioning for a few minutes now and then in winter too, which keeps the seals in the compressor supple.
A ball hitch does not tolerate dirt. Keep the ball clean and lightly greased, and check the ball insert for wear at every service. Once the ball goes oval or picks up grooves, play develops that you feel when pulling away and braking. With the engine oil filter, wet the sealing ring with a little fresh oil before fitting and tighten the filter by hand only.
