On many farms the Claas Arion 510 is the tractor that gets hitched to whatever needs doing that day. So this rundown of the more than 80 parts for the Arion 510 starts at the coupling point at the rear. They come from Scharmüller, Walterscheid, ROCKINGER, GRANIT and PROBOSS.
For trailers with a towing eye there are drawbars and automatic hitches. They slide into the rail of the drawbar frame, and an adapter plate brings them to the correct height. That keeps the drawbar level, so the trailer does not push down on the tractor at an angle.
For heavy trailers and tankers with a ball socket there is the K80 ball hitch, plus a separate ball insert for when the ball itself is worn. Keep ball and socket lightly greased and wipe both clean before you couple up. Grit on a dry ball acts like sandpaper and creates play you can feel every time you pull away. Once the ball is out of round or shows clear wear ridges, replace the insert rather than the whole hitch.
