Own a Massey Ferguson 265 from the 200 Series? This page holds more than 160 parts that fit, including lighting and trailer couplings.
A Massey Ferguson 265 is the kind of tractor people still rebuild in their own shed, and the parts that fit it reflect that. This page lists more than 160 replacement parts for the 265, from GRANIT and from makers including Eaton, Walterscheid, LUK and ROCKINGER.
If the engine is coming apart, you will find complete pistons, piston ring sets, intake gaskets and cylinder head bolts, along with copper sealing rings for the injectors. Fit new head bolts every time. The old ones were stretched when they were last torqued and will not clamp the head gasket evenly. Tighten them in several stages, working in a cross pattern from the centre outwards, and use the figures in the workshop manual. Each injector also needs a fresh copper ring, because a flattened old one lets compression escape, and you will often hear it as a ticking at the injector.
Oil under the back of a 265 often comes from the lift. For that you will find the gasket for the lift housing block, seals for the lift arm shaft and O-rings for the lift piston, plus seal kits for the steering valve and loose O-rings and sealing rings. When the lift arm shaft leaks on one side, replace the seals on both sides in one go. The other side is just as old and usually follows soon after.
Other parts for this model include clutch plates, pins for the lift arm cross piece, drawbars, alternators, rear lights and indicator lights.
The type plate confirms that you are working on a 265. The tractor belongs to the 200 series, which some parts mention by name. Many gaskets and seals carry a stamped reference number, and comparing it with the product details is the quickest way to be certain. Where no number is visible, clean the part and look again under a lamp, as the stamping is often hidden under paint or dirt. Before ordering piston rings, measure the bore to find out whether the engine has already been rebored to an oversize.
Other models from the same series have pages of their own: Massey Ferguson 245, Massey Ferguson 250, Massey Ferguson 275 and Massey Ferguson 290. If one of those is parked next to your 265, its page shows the parts for that exact model. The full brand overview is at Massey Ferguson parts.
