This page shows all we carry for the Massey Ferguson 3645 from the 3600 series: more than 350 items, from lighting and trailer couplings to steering parts.
With the right components, a lot of the work on a Massey Ferguson 3645 can be done in your own workshop, from a thermostat swap to a new seat. This page holds more than 350 replacement parts that fit the 3645, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, HELLA, Cobo, GRAMMER and others.
For cooling there are thermostats together with the thermostat gasket. You will also find cylinder head bolts, an alternator, a V-belt for the air conditioning and seals such as the intake manifold gasket. On the fuel side there are O-rings for the feed pump.
If the cylinder head has to come off, fit new head bolts when it goes back on. Head bolts are often stretch bolts that lengthen permanently when tightened, so reusing them gives an unreliable clamping force. Work round the head in the order the workshop data gives, bringing each bolt up to torque over several passes.
For the rear of the 3645 there are drawbars and adapter plates, so the hitch can be set at the right height for the trailer you pull.
Check the type plate to be certain you are working on a 3645. The 3600 series includes several models that look alike from the outside. What settles it is the reference number on the old part, compared with the details shown for the item. On thermostats that number is often found on the rim or flange.
An air conditioning V-belt that squeals when the system kicks in is often too slack or glazed on its flanks. Replace it and set the tension according to the workshop data. Too tight loads the compressor bearings, too slack lets it slip. If four wheel drive no longer engages when you press the button, check the push button switch and the plug behind it first. A dirty contact causes exactly that fault, and swapping a switch is far quicker than hunting through the driveline.
If you also run a Massey Ferguson 3635 or a Massey Ferguson 3640, each has a separate page with the parts that fit that model. The full list of Massey Ferguson tractors is on Massey Ferguson parts.
