Electrics, lighting, and steering and front axle parts: for the Massey Ferguson 4345 from the 4300 series you will find more than 350 matching parts here.
On a Massey Ferguson 4345, many jobs sit deep inside the tractor: in the planetary drive of the rear axle, in the front axle, or at a gasket weeping oil around the turbocharger. More than 350 replacement parts fit this model, from makers such as GRANIT, Eaton, Cobo, DANA Spicer and GRAMMER. Beyond the drivetrain there are seals, switches, lights, ball joints and seats.
For the rear axle there are gear wheels for the planetary drive, and for the front axle there are adjusting plates for the pinion. Sealing rings and O-rings belong with them, as they should always be renewed when a final drive is opened. A tip for setting up the pinion: coat a few teeth of the crown wheel with marking compound and turn the assembly over a few times. The contact pattern shows whether the pinion sits correctly or needs a thinner or thicker adjusting plate. A badly set pinion whines and wears out in a short time.
For the engine there are gaskets, for example for the turbocharger oil feed line, and seals for the fuel sensors. Do not leave a leaking turbo oil line for long, as a turbo starved of oil fails quickly.
The cab has rocker switches, such as the one for the work lamps. Around the tractor there are headlights, work lamps and mirrors. Worn steering play on a 4345 is usually solved with new ball joints. When replacing a ball joint, count the turns needed to unscrew the old one and screw the new one in by the same amount. The toe-in will then be roughly right, and you can set it precisely afterwards.
For the driver there are tractor seats such as the air-suspended Maximo Professional, other tractor seats and seats from the PROBOSS line. Gas struts hold the door or rear window open.
The type plate tells you which model you have. For drivetrain parts and seals, the reference number on the old part is your best guide. Compare it with the number shown with the product on this page, and count the teeth on a gear wheel. Within the Massey Ferguson range, the 4345 sits in the 4300 line.
