You will find starter motors and alternators in several versions, plus V-belts, among them the one for the air conditioning. If the starter turns slowly, check the battery, the heavy cables to the starter and the earth on the engine block first. A loose or corroded connection looks exactly like a worn starter. When fitting a new V-belt, make sure the pulleys are clean and undamaged, and re-tension the belt after the first few hours of work because a new belt beds in.
For setting up clearances there are adjusting plates. Keep the old plates when you strip something down and note which thickness sat where, so you get back to the same clearance on reassembly and can fine-tune from there. You will also find seals, sealing rings and O-rings, for example for the PTO, together with outer and inner plates for the front axle.
With an automatic drawbar, clean the locking mechanism regularly and give it a light grease. Sand and muck in the latch stop the pin from locking home properly, and you only find out when the trailer comes adrift. A quick look at the safety catch before moving off is time well spent.
