The PTO push button switch on the fender lives outside in all weathers, and a poor contact inside it can feel very much like a slipping clutch. Try operating the PTO from the cab first. If the problem stays, the clutch plates are the next suspect.
Internal and external PTO clutch plates are both available, along with adjusting plates to set the clutch correctly after a rebuild. Always fit plates as a complete set and use the oil the tractor calls for. Plates that run dry or in the wrong oil wear out quickly. When comparing plates, measure the inner and outer diameter and the thickness of the old ones.

An alternator that has stopped charging is not always the culprit. Check belt tension and the earth cable first, then measure the charging voltage with a multimeter while the engine runs. Only replace the alternator if the reading stays low.
A mirror that shakes on the road often just has a loose clamp on its rod, which takes a minute to tighten.
