The Massey Ferguson 6465 belongs to the 6400 series. This page lists more than 500 parts for it, including electrics, trailer couplings and lighting.
From the PTO clutch to the rear window struts, a Massey Ferguson 6465 that has put in its hours needs attention in a lot of places. This page gathers more than 500 Massey Ferguson 6465 parts, from a single sealing ring to a complete alternator.
There are internal and external plates for the PTO clutch, plus O-rings for the powershift. If the PTO slips under load or is slow to come up to speed, the plates are the usual cause. Always replace internal and external plates together. Count them as you strip the pack and lay the old ones out in order on the bench so the new pack goes back the same way. Plates that have turned blue point to prolonged slipping, in which case it pays to renew the seals and O-rings in that area at the same time.
For the rear window you will find gas struts and sealing rings for the window lock. A rear window that will not stay open almost always means a tired gas strut. There are also mirrors, HELLA work lamps, rocker switches and push button switches, while seats and seat parts come from GRAMMER.
Under the bonnet the list covers alternators, V-belts, sensors and gaskets, among them a water pump gasket. MAHLE is one of the brands supplying engine parts, and a dedicated seal keeps the fuel tank sensor tight. At the rear there are rail-mounted drawbars, including ones from Scharmüller.
A V-belt that squeals on start-up or when the alternator is under heavy load is either slack or glazed. Replace a glazed belt, because re-tensioning it only buys you a short while.
Start with the type plate and note the serial number of your 6465. Where that leaves doubt, the old part settles it. Clutch plates, gaskets, alternators and sensors usually carry a reference number, stamped or printed, which you can check against the details of the item before you order.
The rest of the 6400 series has its own pages. With a bigger or smaller sibling parked next to your 6465, you can check the parts for that model there:
The Massey Ferguson 6445 and 6485 belong to the same series. For those and every other model, see Massey Ferguson parts.
