Massey Ferguson 6475 parts, sorted and easy to scan. More than 500 items for the 6400 series include electrics, trailer couplings and lighting.
The Massey Ferguson 6475 is well served here, with more than 500 parts from GRANIT and makers such as Scharmüller, HELLA, GRAMMER and MAHLE. They cover the PTO clutch, the transmission, the electrical system and the cab.
For the PTO clutch there are internal and external plates, and for the transmission there are O-rings, including ones for the powershift. Always replace clutch plates as a complete pack, internal and external together. Soak the new plates in the correct transmission oil for a while before fitting so the lining is fully saturated. A dry plate that goes straight under load can burn or glaze, and the PTO will be slipping again before long. While it is open, check the springs and the piston too, because a leaking piston seal causes the same symptoms as worn plates.
Sealing rings and seals are available for various places, such as the rear window lock and the tank sensors. Engine gaskets come from MAHLE among others. Press sealing rings in square with a suitable drift and oil the lip lightly first, since a ring that goes in at an angle leaks from day one.
When a V-belt squeals as you switch on the lights or the air conditioning it is usually too slack or glazed. Set the tension so you can still press the belt in by roughly a thumb width halfway along its longest run. Too tight is just as bad, as it loads the bearings in the alternator and water pump.
The type plate on the tractor shows the model and serial number, so read both before you order. For clutch plates, measure the thickness and the inner and outer size of the old ones. For seals and sensors, compare the reference number on the old part with the number on the product.
The other Massey Fergusons in the 6400 series each have their own page with the parts that fit them: the Massey Ferguson 6455, Massey Ferguson 6460, Massey Ferguson 6465, Massey Ferguson 6470, Massey Ferguson 6480 and Massey Ferguson 6490. Check each model on its own, even when the tractors look much the same. The full brand range is under Massey Ferguson parts.
