Parts for the Massey Ferguson 7715/S no longer need tracking down one by one. This page shows more than 140 items such as trailer couplings and lighting.
On a 7715/S the top link is something you handle every day, which also makes it something that wears. This page lists more than 140 parts that fit the Massey Ferguson 7715/S, from Scharmüller, GRANIT, Walterscheid, HELLA and MAHLE.
A hydraulic top link makes attaching and levelling implements far easier. After work, avoid leaving the piston rod extended out in the weather. Rust or dried dirt on the rod damages the wiper and the seal, and before long the cylinder starts to leak. Wipe the rod clean before retracting it.
For trailers there are drawbars, drawbar frames, adapter plates, an automatic hitch and a ball hitch. For steered axles there are forced steering parts, such as a left inner part. If your trailer uses air brakes, air hoses and connector heads are available as well. Walk along the hoses and look for spots where they rub against the chassis, because that is where a coiled hose wears through first.
Around the engine there is a thermostat, temperature sensors and a tank cap. For the cab there is an aircon compressor, with MAHLE among the makers, and LED work lights help when the job runs past sunset. Fender pivots keep the fender mountings in place.
An automatic hitch has a hard time with dirt and moisture. After cleaning, spray the mechanism with penetrating oil and grease the jaw and the pin regularly. If the pin no longer drops by itself when hitching up, it is time to check the spring and the wear parts. A hitch that does not lock properly is a risk on the road.
For the LED work lights, keep the connectors dry and add a little contact grease on assembly so corrosion has no chance.
Read the type plate so you know for certain it is a 7715/S. Next, check that the number on the old part agrees with the reference number on the product. For a top link, also check the category of the balls or eyes at both ends, so the new one fits without reducer bushes.
The 7715/S is one of the models in the Massey Ferguson 7700/S series. These tractors have their own page too:
