Does your Massey Ferguson 8650 need a trailer coupling or new lighting? On this page you will see more than 200 parts for the 8600 series, electrics included.
Hours add up fast on an MF 8650. Ploughing, harvest or slurry work means sitting in the same seat from early morning until late, and a tired seat makes itself felt in your back by mid-afternoon. So this page starts there: air suspended tractor seats and seats such as a Maximo Dynamic and a PROBOSS, with GRAMMER among the makers. Altogether you will find more than 200 parts that fit the Massey Ferguson 8650.
The steering front fenders move with every turn of the wheel, and their mounts wear accordingly. Pivots and springs for the fender brackets are available, so a loose fender can swing cleanly again instead of rattling. The rear fender carries the external controls, and a replacement push button switch for the PTO is here as well.
Inside the cab you will find seals, for example for the door handle, relays, and a temperature sensor for the air conditioning. For road and field lighting there are LED headlights.
When the air conditioning cuts in and out, the compressor is not automatically the culprit. A faulty temperature sensor or a sticking relay can switch the system off just as easily. Try those small parts first, and check the plugs for corrosion while you are in there.
Radiator hoses and thermostats cover the cooling system, and O-rings such as the one for the oil filler cap cover the engine. A sticking thermostat shows up in one of two ways. Stuck shut, the temperature climbs under heavy load. Stuck open, the engine never warms properly in winter and the heater blows lukewarm air. To test the old one, hang it in a pan of water on the stove and watch whether it opens as the water gets hot. Fit a new gasket with the replacement and check the hoses for small cracks near the clamps.
For heavy trailers there are automatic drawbars and Piton Fix hooks. Besides GRANIT, hitch parts come from ROCKINGER, Walterscheid and Scharmüller.
Massey Ferguson places the 8650 in its 8600 series. The Typ number on the type plate identifies your tractor with certainty. On electrical parts like relays or sensors there is usually a number on the housing, which makes comparing old and new quick.
If you also run a Massey Ferguson 8690, it has its own page with only the parts that belong to it. The 8670 is part of the same series. For every other model, go to Massey Ferguson parts.
