A 4120 Profi rarely spends a working day without something on the back. Tipping trailers, bale carts and slurry tankers all lean on the hitch, which is why a good share of the more than 200 parts on this page sit at the rear of this Steyr. They come from GRANIT, Scharmüller, Sauermann, GRAMMER and Cobo.
For the hitch rail there are drawbars with a pin or a ball, top drawbars, Piton Fix hooks and a drawbar retrofit kit. An adapter plate lets you mount a flange hitch or another system on the existing rail, which is useful when a farm moves its heavier trailers over to ball couplings.
Whenever you swap hitches, check the locking pin. If it does not drop fully into place, the drawbar can creep out of the rail under load. Once the pin hole has worn oval, replace the whole part rather than just the pin.
Long days on a worn seat end up in your back. You will find tractor seats here, including an air suspended GRAMMER seat with fabric upholstery, plus mirrors for the view behind. Gas struts hold the rear window open, and the front PTO has a push button switch that comes with its connection cable and plug.
A tip on those gas struts: fit them with the piston rod pointing down. That keeps the seal inside the cylinder wetted with oil, so the strut holds its force for longer. If the rear window slowly sags in cold weather, change both struts together so they push evenly.
Under the bonnet you can fit multi-rib belts and complete belt kits, a radiator and O-rings, including one for the thermostat housing. On the transmission there is a PTO speed sensor with connection cable. When the display stops showing PTO speed while the shaft is clearly turning, that sensor and its plug are the first things worth checking.
The type plate shows the 4120 Profi designation together with the chassis number. Keep that number handy in case parts differ within the type, for example by cab version. For belts and seals it is often quicker to read the number off the old part and search on that.
