Parts for the Case IH Magnum 340 are grouped on this page. Pick from more than 200 items for your Magnum, such as trailer couplings, electrics and lighting.
A Magnum 340 spends its working life pulling heavy implements, so the rear end of the tractor takes a beating. This page brings together more than 200 replacement parts that fit this model, made by GRANIT and by specialist manufacturers including Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Walterscheid and Wabco.
For the back of the tractor you will find automatic drawbars, top drawbars, Piton Fix hitches with locking pins and flange hitches, together with adapter plates that set the drawbar at the right height in the rail. Before ordering, measure the rail width and the hole pattern of the plate currently fitted, and check which pin or ball your trailed machines need. That way the new drawbar drops straight into the rail instead of keeping the tractor in the shed for another day.
Trailer air brakes are covered by connector heads, such as the red coupling for the supply line. A workshop tip: whenever you replace a coupling head, fit a new rubber seal inside it as well. A hardened seal leaks air, the compressor keeps cutting in, and the trailer brakes become slow to release.
The powershift transmission uses packs of internal and external plates, and both are listed here. Replace them as a full pack and count the plates as you strip the old one, so the new stack goes back together in the same order. Soak the new friction plates in clean transmission oil for a while before fitting, so the linings are fully wetted when the pack first takes up drive. On the engine side there are injection lines and seal kits, plus a tank cap for the engine cooling circuit. Electrical parts include relays, LED work lights and sensors such as the transmission speed sensor. In the cab, gas struts hold items like the rear window open.
Start with the serial plate to confirm you are working on a Magnum 340. If you still have the old part, look for the reference number stamped into it or printed on a label and compare it with the product details. Injection lines are bent to suit one cylinder position each, so note which one you are replacing. For hitch parts, lay the old drawbar or plate next to the product photo and compare the mounting points.
If other tractors from the same manufacturer work on your farm, the Case IH parts overview lists every model in one place.
