Electrics, lighting and brake and transmission parts for the Massey Ferguson 375, adding up to more than 350 parts that fit this 300 series tractor.
More than 350 new parts fit the Massey Ferguson 375, a number that says something about how long this tractor has been around and how many are still working. The parts on this page come from GRANIT, Eaton, Cobo, LUK and MAHLE. To help you see quickly what is there for your job, here is a breakdown by area of the tractor.
If the starter turns slowly or the charge light stays on, starter motors and alternators are the first suspects. Both are on this page, along with V-belts for the alternator drive. A tip on tension: halfway between two pulleys a V-belt should press in by roughly a thumb width. Too tight wears the bearings in the alternator and water pump, too slack lets it slip and squeal. Where two belts run side by side, always replace them as a pair.
For the clutch there are clutch plates and single clutch pressure assemblies. Further along the driveline you will find gear wheels, transmission shafts, yokes and repair kits. Worn steering on a 375 is usually down to tired ball joints, and those can be replaced here as well.
When fitting a new clutch plate, centre it with an alignment tool so the input shaft slides in later without forcing. A very thin film of grease on the splines is enough. Too much gets flung out onto the lining.
After many years of service the hydraulic lift on a 375 often needs new seals. Here you will find sealing rings for the lift cylinder, seals for the lift arm shaft and gear wheels for the linkage. There are also gaskets, for the exhaust among others, for anyone who has had the engine or manifold apart.
There is something to renew in the cab as well. Gas struts for the door keep it open instead of letting it swing into your shoulder, and a seat from the Compacto line makes driving a lot more comfortable.
Check the type plate first to be sure of the model. Then let the removed part itself tell you what to order. A starter motor or alternator often carries a small plate with a reference number, and on clutch plates the number is usually stamped into the metal. With a clutch plate, count the splines to be safe and compare with the product details.
Within the Massey Ferguson 300 series, the 375 sits alongside several sister models. The other models in that series have separate pages, each with the parts that fit that tractor:
For every other tractor of the make there is Massey Ferguson parts.
