Wondering what fits your Massey Ferguson 5711? This page lists more than 60 parts for the 5700 series, from trailer couplings to electrics and steering.
Massey Ferguson 5711 parts on this page come to more than 60 new items, from Walterscheid, GRANIT, Scharmüller, MAHLE and FEBI. The 5711 is part of the MF 5700 series, and the parts here cover the hitch, cooling, the cab and the body panels.
Write down the model and serial number from the type plate on your tractor. Hitch parts are matched on rail width, pin diameter and coupling type. Thermostats, sensors and joints usually carry a reference number that you can compare with the product description. For fender springs and pivots, make sure you pick the left or the right side. A tank cap is matched on the thread and the filler neck.
A beacon spends its life on the roof in rain, frost and dust, and most failures start at the base. If the light flickers or cuts out, check the plug and the contacts in the socket for corrosion before you blame the lamp. A thin smear of contact grease on the pins keeps moisture out. On a magnetic base, wipe the roof and the magnet clean so it holds flat, and route the cable so a door or hatch cannot pinch it. Fold or remove the beacon before driving under low doorways.
A vented tank cap lets air into the tank as fuel is used. If the vent clogs with dust, a vacuum builds up and the engine starts to lose power or stalls after a while, then runs again once you loosen the cap. That is a clear sign the cap needs replacing. Never use a sealed cap as a stopgap, and check the seal inside the new cap sits properly on the filler neck.
For the air brake, the red connector head serves the supply line. If you hear air hissing with a trailer coupled, check the rubber seal inside the head first.
The Massey Ferguson 5710 from the same series has its own page, useful if you run both and want to see the parts confirmed for each tractor separately. For every other model from the brand, see Massey Ferguson parts.
