A 6614 is often hooked up to a heavy trailer, a force-steered dolly or an implement on the three-point linkage. With a rail system on the rear of the tractor, the drawbar, ball hitch or a Piton hook slides into the rail of the drawbar frame. An adapter plate lets a different coupling fit the same bolt pattern. A tip for the ball hitch: keep the ball lightly greased and check the socket on the drawbar eye for wear. A dry ball soon wears oval, and the trailer starts to knock when you brake and pull away. On the forced steering, check the locking mechanism as well. Play there shows up as a trailer that wanders behind the tractor.
A hydraulic top link lets you set the pitch of an implement without leaving the seat. When fitting it, make sure the hoses have enough slack with the linkage fully raised and fully lowered, or they will rub through on the frame. For the front axle drive there are external and internal plates for the four-wheel drive clutch, together with adjusting plates and O-rings used when setting it up. Keep the old adjusting plates when you strip it down and write down their thickness. That gives you a starting point for the new adjustment.
