We have gathered more than 170 parts for the Steyr 4095 Kompakt, including brake and transmission parts, trailer couplings and electrics.
On a compact tractor that spends its days on the loader or around the yard, it is the seat, the clutch and the cab fittings that take the punishment. This page covers more than 170 new replacement parts for the Steyr 4095 Kompakt, from GRANIT and from makers such as LUK, GRAMMER, Eaton and Scharmüller.
The identification plate tells you whether the tractor is a 4095 Kompakt. With that settled, the reference number on the old part is the quickest way to the right replacement. For a clutch plate, count the splines and measure the hub, and for a drawbar check the rail width and the pin size.
An air suspended seat has its own small compressor, so it needs a power supply. Before you start, check that there is a connection near the seat and measure the bolt pattern on the old seat base. If it does not line up, you will need an adapter plate before the new seat can be fixed down. Run the seat through its full travel once fitted to make sure nothing catches on the cab floor.
A clutch that bites high, slips during heavy loader work or rattles when you press the pedal needs a new plate and usually a new thrust bearing too. With the tractor split, check the flywheel for heat cracks and blue spots and have it skimmed if needed. Centre the new plate with an alignment tool, or the gearbox will be hard to refit. Afterwards, reset the play at the clutch pedal so the bearing is not running all the time.
With the old plate out, also look at the spline on the gearbox input shaft and clean it before applying a thin smear of grease.
The Steyr 4085 Kompakt and the Steyr 4075 Kompakt come from the same range and each have their own page, which is useful if more than one Kompakt works on the farm. Every other Steyr model is listed under Steyr parts.
