When the compressor on a 4120 Profi CVT seizes, it usually leaves debris in the system. Replace the receiver drier along with the compressor and have the lines flushed before the system is refilled. A charge air leak shows up as a whistle under load and a tractor that pulls noticeably less. Check the intercooler air hoses for cracks in the bends and for an oily film on the outside. When fitting a new hose, wipe any grease off the stubs and tighten the clamps evenly, or the hose can blow off under pressure. With a drawbar retrofit kit, make sure the category matches the mounting on the tractor before you fit it.
