Three-point linkage parts, trailer couplings and electrics for the Steyr 4135 Profi CVT: more than 60 parts for the Profi CVT series on a single page.
Hitching gear wears hard on a tractor that spends its days pulling trailers, tankers and balers. For the Steyr 4135 Profi CVT, a good share of the more than 60 replacement parts on this page is aimed at exactly that, with engine, air conditioning and mirror parts completing the picture.
Scharmüller and GRANIT make up much of this group. Measure two things before you order: the width of the rail the insert slides into and the diameter of the locking pin. Together they decide whether a hitch, ball or Piton Fix fits your frame. While you are at it, check the locking pin and its spring, because a worn pin lets the insert rattle and wears the rail faster.
Beyond the hitch you will find temperature sensors, a rear crankshaft seal, alternators, an air conditioning compressor from MAHLE and a main mirror. Wabco and CBM supply parts as well.
A leaking crankshaft seal deserves a close look at the shaft before the new seal goes in. If the old lip has worn a groove into the running surface, a new seal in the same position will soon leak again. Setting the seal slightly further in or fitting a repair sleeve solves that. Lightly oil the lip and keep the outer edge clean and dry.
Replacing the air conditioning compressor is also the time to fit a new receiver drier, and the system should be evacuated properly before it is recharged. Moisture left in the circuit attacks a new compressor from the inside.
The identification plate on the tractor tells you the type and serial number. For hitch parts, the frame itself often carries the make and model of the hitch system, which narrows the choice quickly. For sensors and alternators, the reference number on the unit you removed is the best way to compare.
The 4135 is part of the Steyr Profi CVT range. If you run more than one of them, these pages are worth a look:
