The Steyr 4145 Profi has its own selection of more than 70 parts here. Electrics, steering and front axle parts, and trailer couplings are easy to find.
Servicing a Steyr 4145 Profi quickly comes down to the engine. A head gasket lets go, an injection line starts to weep, or the NOX sensor throws a fault. On this page there are more than 70 parts for this tractor, plus parts for the fenders, the cab and the hitch, from GRANIT, Sauermann, MAHLE, Wabco and CBM.
For the head there are cylinder head gaskets, cylinder head bolts and valve cover gaskets. On the fuel side you will find injection lines, and the cooling system is covered with radiator hoses such as the top hose and temperature sensors. If the exhaust aftertreatment is reporting a problem, there is a NOX sensor for it too. An air conditioning compressor, an alternator, sealing rings and a tank cap complete the picture for this model.
A tip if the head is coming off: always fit new cylinder head bolts. They are stretched on purpose during tightening and are not meant to be reused. Tighten them in the specified sequence and in stages, working from the centre outwards, with a torque wrench and the angle turn that applies to the engine. Clean the faces of head and block thoroughly and keep them dry, without using an abrasive disc, so the new gasket seals evenly. A straight edge across the head tells you whether it is still flat.
The steering front fenders hang on fender brackets, springs and pivots that develop play over time, and all of these can be replaced. There are drawbars for the trailer as well. Play usually announces itself as a rattling fender or one that rubs the tyre on full lock, and it is worth dealing with early, as a fender that tears loose does far more damage than a new spring.
Steyr made the Profi line in many versions and the model numbers sometimes differ only slightly. Reading the type plate settles which of them is parked in your shed. When in doubt, use the reference number from the old part, which on engine gaskets is often printed on the gasket or its packaging. Fitting position matters too, for example upper or lower on a valve cover gasket.
Each of these Profi models has a page of its own:
