A switch that has stopped working on the dashboard is a small fault that can stop a whole day of field work. The rocker switches here operate the front work lights, and the push button switches include the one for lowering the front linkage. Before you swap a switch, unplug it and compare the terminal layout with the new one. The symbol on the button tells you whether it does the same job. Water pump gaskets are available for this tractor. A leaking pump often shows as a white crust of dried coolant around the housing. Clean both faces thoroughly, fit the gasket without extra sealant unless it is specified, and refill the coolant afterwards. Run the engine up to temperature with the heater open so trapped air can escape.

If the bonnet starts to drop, both gas struts are usually the same age and equally tired, so renew them together. An air suspended seat that keeps sinking often has a leak in the air spring or the hose feeding it. With the engine running, listen for escaping air before you replace anything. On the drawbar and adapter plate, check the pin and the latch for wear, because a sloppy pin quickly wears the parts around it.
A slipping aircon V-belt gives a squeal the moment the compressor cuts in. Check the tension and replace the belt if the flanks are glazed or the ribs show cracks. And if the alternator seems weak, measure the battery voltage with the engine running and check that the charging cable connections are clean and tight.
