If the front work lights have stopped working, the rocker switch on the dashboard is a likely suspect. Contact switches and pressure switches are listed too. When a pressure switch reports a fault while the pressure is fine, check the plug and wiring first, since the problem is often there rather than in the switch.

On the Piton Fix and the automatic hitch, look at the locking pin and the jaw regularly. A pin with a worn edge or a jaw with play causes knocks when pulling away. When a gas strut can no longer hold a door or window, fit the new one with the rod facing down.

Never reuse an old O-ring. Clean the groove, give the new ring a light coat of clean oil and make sure it does not twist as it goes in.
