This page is for the New Holland T6090 in the T6000 Power Command series. Choose from more than 200 parts, including trailer couplings, electrics and lighting.
The hitch on a New Holland T6090 takes a beating, and so do the small electrical parts that keep the driver informed. This page brings together more than 200 parts that fit the T6090, supplied by GRANIT alongside specialists such as Scharmüller, Rockinger, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
For the rear of the tractor there are drawbar frames, height adjustable adapter plates, automatic drawbars, top drawbars and automatic hitches, plus a Piton Fix for heavy trailers. Forced steering components, such as rods welded at both ends with a lock, cover trailers with a steered axle, and trailer drawbars are part of the mix too.
A workshop tip: when a hitch starts to rattle, check the pin and the locking pin for wear before blaming the rail. A worn pin creates play that gradually works its way into the frame. Clean the guide and give it a thin coat of grease before sliding a new part in, so the height can still be adjusted after a wet winter.
Forced steering deserves a look at every major service. If the lock no longer clicks home cleanly, the trailer axle can steer when it should stay straight, and you tend to notice that halfway through a tight turn in the yard rather than on the open road.
On the electrical side you will find transmission oil temperature sensors, engine oil pressure switches, contact switches and push button switches. Work lamps and mirrors keep visibility up around the tractor, and sealing rings in several versions deal with weeping joints.
If the oil pressure warning light flickers at warm idle, measure the real pressure with a gauge first. When the reading is fine, the switch or its connector is to blame, and swapping it is a job of a few minutes. Always fit a new oil pressure switch with a fresh sealing ring, otherwise it will start weeping oil before long.
Work lamps age quietly as well. Once moisture gets past the seal, the lens fogs and the reflector dulls, so replacing the whole lamp usually beats fitting a new bulb into a wet housing.
Start with the serial number on the type plate of your tractor. The T6090 belongs to the T6000 Power Command range from New Holland. The reference number stamped or printed on the old part is the safest way to confirm a match, so compare it with the details shown on the product. For hitch parts, also note the rail width and the pin thickness of what is fitted now.
