Whether it is engine parts, electrics or a trailer coupling, the New Holland T6.120 from the T6 series has more than 200 parts listed on this page.
A mirror snapped off on a tight gateway, a lost fuel cap, a gas strut that no longer holds up the windscreen frame: on a New Holland T6.120 it is often the small failures that stop the working day. More than 200 parts are available for this model, from the hitch at the back to the cooling pack at the front. Alongside GRANIT they come from specialists such as Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
If the T6.120 loses pulling power and you hear a hiss at full throttle, check the air hoses between the turbo and the engine before anything else. A small split on the inside of a bend can be almost invisible from outside. With the engine off, squeeze the hose all the way round and look for traces of oil, which give a leak away. Fit the new hose with clean clamps and tighten them only until they hold, without cutting into the rubber.
A hydraulic top link lets you change the pitch of a plough, cultivator or mower on the T6.120 without climbing down. Connect it to a double acting spool valve and run the cylinder fully in and out a few times before work so any trapped air is pushed out. Then check the ball ends for play and grease them.
The type plate confirms you really are working on a T6.120. After that, the part you have removed is your best guide. Sensors, switches and hoses often carry a reference number you can match against the product. For anything bolted to the rear, such as a hitch frame or Piton Fix rail, the size of the existing rail decides the fit, so measure it with a tape before ordering.
If you look after several tractors from the T6 range, each model has a page of its own. That avoids mix-ups, since a part for one model need not suit another:
