Trailer couplings, electrics and steering and front axle parts for the New Holland T7.250 from the T7 series, with more than 250 items to choose from.
The T7.250 usually ends up hitched to the heaviest trailers on the farm, from forage wagons to big slurry tankers, and the parts list reflects that. Of the more than 250 parts that fit the New Holland T7.250, many deal with the link between tractor and trailer. The rest covers the cab, the electrics and the hydraulics, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
Automatic drawbars, top drawbars, automatic hitches, Piton Fix pins and height adjustable adapter plates cover the rear end. If you pull a trailer with steered axles, forced steering is the rod that passes the steering movement of the tractor on to the trailer axles. Check its ball ends and locks every time you hitch up, because play in the forced steering only really shows when the trailer starts pushing in a bend.
Grease the coupling pin of an automatic hitch regularly and keep the jaw clear of mud. A dry pin wears quickly, and a jaw caked with dirt stops the pin from dropping home properly, which leaves the coupling unsecured.
For the linkage there are hydraulic top links and hydraulic cylinders. Wipe the piston rod clean before you fully retract a cylinder, so the seals do not drag grit inside. Sensors such as the transmission oil temperature sensor and oil pressure switches, for example on the steering, are also listed.
Air suspended tractor seats, mirrors and push button switches belong to the cab. Alternators keep the battery charged, and connector heads link the air brake lines to the trailer.
If the steering oil pressure switch keeps flashing a warning on and off, check the oil level and the plug before changing the switch. A corroded contact often causes exactly that flicker.
Start at the type plate and confirm it really says T7.250. If you still have the old part, find the reference number on it. For drawbars and hitches, also check the rail width and coupling pin diameter, since these decide whether the new part fits your rail.
