The New Holland T7.270 belongs to the T7 Autocommand range. Find more than 250 parts, such as trailer couplings, electrics, and steering and front axle parts.
A T7.270 from the T7 Autocommand line spends much of its life pulling heavy trailers, and that shows in the more than 250 parts gathered here. Hitching hardware sits alongside sensors, alternators and cab items, from brands that include GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
Measure before you order. What matters is the rail width of the frame already on the tractor and the hole pattern on its plate. When a new hitch jaw has a hole pattern that does not line up with the frame, an adapter plate bridges the gap. Check the coupling pin size against the drawbar eye of your trailer as well.
Fitting forced steering? Turn the steering to full lock in both directions before the first run and make sure the rod moves freely. Otherwise it will bend the first time you make a tight turn in the yard.
For the engine there are temperature sensors for fuel and coolant, a transmission oil temperature sensor, NOX sensors, alternators and a fan clutch. Mirrors that also fit Case IH, tank caps and air brake connector heads round out the page.
The fan clutch is worth a closer look if the engine runs hot during heavy summer work. A fan that spins hard on a cold engine or turns lazily on a hot one means the clutch is no longer doing its job. Oil residue around the hub is another sign that it is leaking.
A Piton Fix hitch holds the trailer on a locking pin that engages in the rail. Check now and then that the pin snaps fully home and that no mud has packed into the rail. A little grease on the sliding faces keeps the height adjustment easy, even after a wet autumn of muck spreading. On the air brake side, a hissing connector head usually needs only a new sealing ring, and keeping the dust flap closed when nothing is hitched helps it last.
Check the type plate to confirm the tractor really is a T7.270. For sensors and alternators, the reference number on the part you removed is the surest way to match a replacement. Compare it with the details on the product page.
Another tractor from the same line, the New Holland T7.225, has its own page. Every other New Holland model can be found through New Holland parts.
