Electrics, trailer couplings and lighting are part of the more than 50 items that fit the New Holland T9.560, a tractor from the T9 series.
The back end of a T9.560 pulls heavy implements every working day, so the hitch takes plenty of punishment. For the New Holland T9.560 you will find drawbars, top drawbars, automatic hitches, height adjustable adapter plates and Piton Fix units on this page. Check the rail width and hole pattern of the parts on your tractor before ordering. A worn coupling pin should be replaced in good time, because it opens up the jaw a little more on every trip.
In total there are more than 50 parts for this tractor, from Scharmüller, GRANIT, MAHLE, Cobo and Borg Warner.
Changeover relays, blade fuses, flasher units and a temperature sensor cover the electrical system, with an alternator and an aircon compressor for charging and cooling the cab. Rear lights and replacement glass complete the lighting.
When a function drops out, start at the fuse. Always replace a blown blade fuse with one of the same rating, never a heavier one. If the new fuse blows straight away, there is a short circuit to trace first. A relay is quickly tested by swapping it with an identical relay from a circuit that works.
The radiator cap keeps the cooling system under pressure. A worn cap lets coolant escape and can lead to overheating. Never open it on a hot engine. For the transmission there are external plates for the Hi-Lo shift.
A flasher that blinks too fast or not at all usually points to a failed bulb on one side, not a faulty flasher unit. Check the bulbs first. If the temperature sensor gives implausible readings, unplug it and clean the contacts, and only fit a new sensor if that does not help.
After a compressor swap the air conditioning has to be evacuated and recharged by a workshop with the right equipment. The external Hi-Lo plates should soak in the transmission oil before fitting, and note the stacking order when you strip the pack. A cracked rear light lens lets water in, which corrodes the bulb holder and contacts. Replacement glass sorts that out quickly while the holder is still clean.
The T9.560 is part of the T9 series from New Holland. Check the type plate to confirm. Relays and fuses carry their data printed on the part itself, while a sensor or radiator cap usually has a reference number. Hold that number against the product page before you order.
For every other tractor from this manufacturer, the New Holland parts overview takes you to the right page by model.
