If you are splitting the tractor for a new clutch, there are complete clutch kits, separate clutch plates and thrust bearings for the driving clutch. Inside the gearbox you can replace gear wheels and driven shafts. Sealing rings for the lift piston and lifting shaft seals stop the hydraulics from leaking.
A radiator cap looks trivial, yet its rubber seal and spring are what keep the cooling system under pressure. When the seal has gone hard or split, the coolant boils sooner and escapes through the overflow without any visible leak. If your TD5010 keeps running hot, replace the cap before you start on the thermostat or water pump. Only ever open it with the engine cold.
If a gear wheel in the TD5010 gearbox has to be replaced, look closely at the gear it meshes with as well. A new gear running against a worn partner wears faster and gets noisier. Check for chipped tooth flanks and pitting on the surface, and replace both gears if in doubt. Flush the gearbox and refill it with fresh oil at the same time so no metal particles stay behind. On the cooling fan, check the roots of the blades for fine cracks, because a blade that breaks off can damage the radiator.
