Parts for the New Holland TS90 from the TS series: more than 250 items, such as electrics, trailer couplings and lighting, all selected to fit this model.
The New Holland TS90 is part of the TS series, and more than 250 parts fit this tractor, from ball joints and starter motors to the drawbar and the seat.
For the engine there are starter motors, alternators, multi-rib belts and gaskets, such as the exhaust gasket. An oil pressure switch watches the lubrication, and a contact switch reports the gear position.
When you replace the multi-rib belt, look at the pulleys and the tensioner too. Spin each pulley by hand and listen for bearing noise. A tensioner that rattles or sits at an angle will chew through a new belt quickly. Seat the belt properly in every groove and check the tension again after a few hours of work. Small cracks across the ribbed side are the sign that a belt is due.
For towing there are automatic drawbars and a Piton Fix with rail and locking pin. An adapter plate helps when mounting a hitch, and a mirror for the trailer hitch lets you watch the hook from the seat. Scharmüller and ROCKINGER are among the brands for this part.
A Piton Fix or automatic drawbar only works reliably when the lock drops home cleanly. Grease the rail and locking pin regularly and, after a season of heavy draught work, check whether the pin has worn oval. Never leave a lock that sticks, because the trailer could come loose.
For the operator there is an air suspended tractor seat, along with gas struts. Outside there are indicator and position lights and rear lights. For the steering there are ball joints, and play in them is easy to feel if someone rocks the steering wheel while you grip the joint. Before replacing the alternator, measure the charging voltage at the battery with the engine running and check the belt for slip. Brands include GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Cobo and MAHLE.
A look at the type plate confirms you are working on a TS90. After that, the reference number on the old part is the safest check, especially with gaskets and switches that look alike across tractors.
From the same TS series, the New Holland TS100, New Holland TS110 and New Holland TS115 each have their own page. Order for every tractor through its own page, even when they share the same shed. For other models from the brand, see New Holland parts.
