Looking for Case IH 1294 parts? This page lists more than 100 items for the tractor also known as the IHC 1294, including lighting, electrics and engine parts.
Many farmers still call it the IHC 1294, and some bonnets still carry that badge. It is the same tractor either way, and the more than 100 parts on this page fit it. They come from GRANIT, LUK, HELLA, Cobo and Carraro and cover the jobs that keep coming back on a tractor of this age.
The wiring on an older 1294 needs attention now and then. There are flasher units, some with an indicator warning connection, and combined indicator and position lights. For the cab you will find door locks and gas struts for the front or rear window.
The fuel system is covered by feed pumps and a repair kit to overhaul an existing feed pump, along with O-rings for the filter bowl. For the engine there are oil filters and V-belts. At the front axle you will find ball joints, axle housing bushes and parts for the hydraulic steering.
After fitting a new feed pump or filter, bleed the fuel system carefully, working from the pump towards the injectors. Air left in the lines gives an engine that is hard to start or stalls after a few minutes.
A slipping or juddering clutch on a 1294 usually means a full overhaul. Clutch plates, pressure plate assemblies and thrust bearings are available here, some made by LUK. Replace the plate, the pressure assembly and the thrust bearing together. The tractor has to be split anyway, and an old release bearing behind a fresh plate is often the first thing to start whining again. While it is apart, check that the crankshaft seal is dry, because oil on a new plate undoes the job quickly.
Read the type plate first and note the model and serial number. On a tractor that has passed through many hands, keep the old part next to you when you choose. A clutch plate is identified by its number of splines and outer size, a filter by its thread and height. If a number is printed on the old part, compare it with the reference number shown with the product. Some parts also mention David Brown because they are made for those tractors too, which tells you nothing about other parts of those machines.
The 1294 belongs to the 94 series from Case IH. If you also maintain a Case IH 1394 or a Case IH 1494, order for that tractor from its own page. The rest of the brand is listed under Case IH parts.
