Whether you call it Case IH 695 XL or IHC 695 XL, this page has more than 250 fitting parts. Steering and front axle, lighting and electrics lead the range.
The Case IH 695 XL, which many farmers still call the IHC 695 XL, often gets a second life through an engine rebuild. This page lists more than 250 replacement parts for this tractor, from manufacturers including GRANIT, HELLA, ZF, KS and Carraro.
For an overhaul there are complete piston sets and piston ring sets, backed up by gaskets and O-rings, for instance for the feed pump and the thermostat. The brass bushes that hold the injector nozzle holders are here too.
A word on those bushes: they separate the coolant from the combustion chamber. If you see bubbles in the radiator or coolant disappears without a visible leak, a failed bush may be the cause. Replace them whenever you rebuild, since the head is already on the bench. With new piston rings, check the ring gap by pushing each ring squarely into the bore and measuring before it goes onto the piston.
Around the cooling system there are radiator hoses, such as the by-pass hose, and thermostat gaskets. The by-pass hose is often awkward to reach and tends to get forgotten. Replace it along with the thermostat, since everything is already open. For the front axle and steering there are axial joints and ball joints, which announce wear through play at the steering wheel. In the driveline you will find clutch packs with internal and external plates.
Gas struts hold the cab door open, and one that no longer holds is more than a nuisance on a windy day. For the lights there are work lamps, rocker switches and flasher units. If the indicators suddenly flash twice as fast, a bulb has usually blown. If they stop flashing altogether, suspect the flasher unit first.
The type plate on your 695 XL confirms the model, but for an engine rebuild the number on the block matters just as much. Pistons and rings are matched to the bore, so measure the cylinders before you order. For individual parts, the reference number on the old component is a good guide.
The same series also includes the Case IH 695 and the Case IH 895 XL. Each has its own page, so pick the one matching the model on your type plate. Other Case IH and IHC tractors are under Case IH parts.
