The CS 94 works hard at both ends. At the back, implements are hitched and unhitched every day, and inside the cab the switches, seat and door struts see constant use. For the dashboard there are rocker switches, including the powershift switch, and push button switches for raising and lowering the linkage. Gas struts hold the roof hatch, door and rear window open. The seating includes air suspended tractor seats such as the Maximo Professional as well as separate seat cushions, and for night work there are work lamps, including recessed spotlights.
When fitting a new gas strut, mount it with the rod pointing down. That keeps the internal seal bathed in oil, and the strut lasts noticeably longer. If a hatch or door has a strut on each side, always replace them as a pair, otherwise the stronger one twists the frame.
At the rear you will find automatic drawbars and height adjustable adapter plates that set the drawbar at the right height in the rail. Before ordering an adapter plate, measure the hole pattern of the plate currently on the tractor.
Under the bonnet there are alternators, radiator hoses, gaskets for the exhaust and inlet manifolds, O-rings for the feed pump, sealing rings and seal kits. For the driveline there are clutch thrust bearings. Radiator hoses are easy to overlook. Squeeze each one with the engine cold. A hose that feels hard and crunchy or soft and spongy is due for replacement, even if it is not leaking yet. Fit new hose clamps at the same time, since old clamps lose their grip.
Check the type plate first to confirm the tractor is a CS 94 and not another model from the CS series. With switches, compare the symbol and the shape of the button. If the old part carries a reference number, hold it against the product details before you order.
