Lighting, trailer couplings and electrics for the Case IH CVX 130. More than 300 parts, each linked specifically to this model from the CVX range.
In autumn a CVX 130 often runs well after dark, and that is when you notice straight away which work lamp has given up. Lighting is therefore a good place to start, but there is a lot more on this page. In total more than 300 new parts fit the Case IH CVX 130, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, HELLA, Carraro and MAHLE.
There are work lamps in several versions, for instance a square spotlight for flush mounting, and rocker switches on the dashboard to operate them. If a work lamp stops working, check the fuse and measure for voltage at the plug before ordering a new lamp. A failed switch or a corroded earth lead looks exactly like a dead lamp.
For the engine there are alternators, V-belts, water pump gaskets, O-rings for the feed pump and seals, including one for a lubrication line. Sealing rings are here too. The bonnet itself is held up by gas struts, and you will find those on this page as well.
A tip on gas struts: always replace them as a pair, even if only one has gone weak. Fit them with the piston rod pointing down so the seal inside stays lubricated and the strut lasts longer. Prop the bonnet securely while you swap them, because without struts it slams shut with real force.
At the rear there are bushes for the lower link shaft and a good line of hitching parts: drawbars, automatic hitches, adapter plates and Piton Fix systems, Scharmüller among the makers. For the driver there are tractor seats.
If an air suspended seat keeps sinking, listen for the small compressor in the seat and look for a leak in the air hose with soapy water before choosing a new seat.
The type plate on the tractor confirms that you have a CVX 130. Lamps, switches and alternators nearly always carry a reference number on the old part, and that number is the quickest way to compare. For hitching parts, look at the system already on the tractor, because a hitch jaw, a rail and a pin are each fixed in a different way.
If another model from this range works alongside your CVX 130, it has its own page too, with the parts for that particular tractor:
The CVX 1155 and CVX 1170 also belong to the range. Other tractors of the make can be found through Case IH parts.
