The Case IH JX 100U from the JXU series has more than 200 matching parts here, many of them trailer couplings, lighting or parts for brakes and transmission.
Clutch slipping under load, a whine as soon as you press the pedal, an air conditioning system that no longer cools the cab. These are the jobs that bring most owners of a JX 100U to the workshop, and the parts for them are on this page. In total there are more than 200 parts that fit the Case IH JX 100U, supplied by GRANIT, Eaton, LUK, MAHLE and ROCKINGER.
Splitting a tractor is the expensive part of a clutch job, so replace the pressure plate, clutch plate and thrust bearing together while it is apart. Look at the flywheel face too. Scoring or blue heat marks mean it needs skimming, or the new plate will glaze and wear quickly. The clutch plate usually has the flywheel side marked on the hub, so check that before you line it up.
An aircon compressor swap has its own rule. The system must be evacuated and recharged afterwards, and the receiver drier should be replaced at the same time, because it absorbs moisture as soon as the circuit is opened.
The tank cap is easy to overlook. If its vent is blocked, a vacuum builds in the tank during long, heavy work and the engine starts to lose power. When the tractor only pulls properly again after you have briefly loosened the cap, a new one is the simplest fix. While the thermostat housing is open for a new gasket, take a look at the thermostat itself. An engine that stays cold for a long time or runs hot is a good reason to renew both at once.
The JX 100U belongs to the JXU series from Case IH. Tractors in this range look much alike from the outside, so check the type plate before you order. If you still have the old part, look for a reference number on the housing or the rim. For gaskets and clutch plates that is often the quickest way to the right item.
Other tractors in this series have their own pages, handy if your yard has more than one of them:
The JX 80U and JXU 115 are part of the same family as well. For every other model the brand makes, start from the Case IH parts overview and choose your type there.
