Everything for the Case IH JX 90 in one place: more than 200 parts that fit this model, from trailer couplings to brakes, transmission and electrics.
After plenty of hours, a JX 90 rarely fails in one big way. More often it is oil dripping from the lift shaft, a rear window that drops shut on its own or steering that has picked up a little play. More than 200 parts for this tractor are collected here, made by GRANIT and by suppliers including LUK, ROCKINGER, Eaton and GRAMMER.
For the linkage there are lift arm shaft seals and sealing rings, among them the piston seal found in the hydraulics of several other brands too. If the lift shaft is leaking, clean the shaft thoroughly around the sealing area and check it for rust pitting or a worn groove before pressing in a new seal. Push it in square and grease the lip lightly so it does not run dry on the first few strokes.
A rear window that falls shut almost always has a tired gas strut. Fit the new one with the piston rod pointing down so the internal seal stays lubricated and the strut lasts longer. Push button switches for the dash, Compacto seats and radiator caps are listed as well.
At the front axle you will find ball joints and track rods. A worn track rod end does more than add play at the wheel. It also pulls the toe out of line, which shows up as front tyres wearing on one edge. After replacing one, have the toe-in set again.
The JX 90 belongs to the Case IH JX series. Use the type plate to confirm the model, then match the reference number on the old part. On a clutch plate also count the splines in the hub, and on switches check the symbol printed on the button.
Each tractor in the JX series has its own page with the parts that belong to it:
