More than 200 parts for the Case IH JXU 105 from the JXU series are grouped on this page. Check trailer couplings, electrics or brakes and transmission.
A clutch job on a Case IH JXU 105 means splitting the tractor, so it pays to do it once and do it properly. This page has more than 200 new parts for the JXU 105, from GRANIT, LUK, Sauermann, ROCKINGER and GRAMMER, and the clutch components are a good place to start.
The single clutch, the clutch plate with torsion damper, the thrust bearing for the driving clutch and the clutch cable are all listed. Fit them together and you will not be splitting the tractor again a year later. After assembly, reset the pedal play at the cable. A cable that is too tight keeps the clutch partly disengaged, it slips, and the new plate wears out early.
Check that the serial plate reads JXU 105. Within the JX family the models are close and the differences are in the details. For clutch parts the old components are the best guide, with a number on the pressure plate and disc and a spline count on the hub that has to match. Compare those with the product details before ordering. Gas struts are chosen by length and force, which are usually printed on the cylinder of the old strut.
If the roof window will not stay open, the gas strut has lost its pressure. Fit the new strut with the cylinder up and the rod down so the seal inside stays lubricated. On a Piton Fix or drawbar, check the locking pin and guide for wear at regular intervals. A pin that no longer drops fully into place is a reason to replace it straight away. If the lift cylinder leaks past the piston, the linkage sinks slowly with an implement on. Replace the piston sealing ring and check the cylinder wall while it is apart.
These tractors from the same series have their own pages with the parts for each model: Case IH JXU 85, Case IH JXU 95, Case IH JX 100U, Case IH JX 1080U, Case IH JX 1090U and Case IH JX 1100U. The JX 80U and the JXU 115 are part of the family too. For any other Case IH tractor, see Case IH parts.
